Welcome to the brand new online home of a special charity known as The Iris Project. The new foundation was started in honor of a very brave young lady that has traveled far and wide to fight against neuromuscular diseases that claim the lives of thousands of children every year. That special young lady is named Iris Roberts.

The Iris Project was founded in late 2007 by several firefighters from various fire departments around the state of Florida. The initial goal of the Iris Project is a massive home renovation project which will enable Iris to recover from major surgery in her current home. Once accomplished, the Iris Project will embark on a quest to ease the hardships of daily life that is encountered by children with neuromuscular diseases.
